I clarify something that caused a lot of confusion in the first podcast episode.
Honestly, I was unhappy about making this clarification video. People seemed to think that I was disparaging scripture, claiming that the Bible isn’t inspired by God, and that the Bible serves no purpose, etc. I never made these claims, I didn’t imply these claims. So, in this video, I break down four terms to their simplest level to help those that didn’t understand what I originally said or were too angry to listen beyond the topic sentence. The key takeaway is this; the Bible is not the Word of God. It is a book about the Word of God.
Going into it, I believed the topic of the first episode was very mild. Frankly, I was shocked by how angrily people, especially Christians, reacted. Please be aware that I am here to spread the truth; I am not here to placate anyone. What I say on this podcast moving forward will often be very challenging, so please exhibit the patience to listen to what I’m actually saying. I will always have a boatload of scripture and research to back up my claims.
